Nomad Renu got a chance for a one to one meeting with Chris ! Check out his report below !
It was a hot Thursday afternoon… Wanted to ensure I am there (Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore) before the show starts. To my luck, the red bull officials were known to me. Got a chance to click photos from the press-stand.
When the show was about to start, it started raining… the crowd was all angry… prayers worked and the rain stopped… some brooming took place to ensure the venue is not slippery…
Chris came to just check the ground and the crowd shouted glory!!!
The crowd was cheering him all the way… Believe me, the whistles and screaming was more louder than the beamer!!
Chris was handling the bikes like toys… what an experience…
End of the show, got a chance to interview Chris…
My questions:
Me: Cars or Bikes? Which one do you prefer?
Chris: Car is just a mode of transport. Bikes take the place in my heart. I love bikes
Me: Ok, are you interested in Motorsports?
Chris: Yes, lot!
Me: Formula1, WRC or Moto GP?
Chris: Moto GP
Me: Wow thats interesting! Who do you like the most in Moto GP?
Chris: Valentino Rossi!!! He is the best. Love to see him in action…
Me: Thank you very much Chris. That was a great performance. Hope to see you in India again

2 guys are gonna take up the challenge.
Its not a relay ride.
2 Nomads with their steeds are going to run across the length and breadth of the country. Renu (of the Saddle Sore fame) and Amrith a fellow BNer.
This ride would not be possible without the sponsors who are chipping in with their support for the Event.
Yamaha & Bangalore Wheels are the main sponsors – sponsoring 2 YZF R15 Bikes
Cramster - sponsoring Riding gears for both the riders
MapMyIndia - GPS navigation and tracking.
Autocar - magazine coverage
Lets show them our support folks ! Get off your comfortable beds , get in your BN Ts, start your bikes to see them off :
