Total hours taken to complete GQ is 146 hours 50 mins i.e 6 days 2hrs 50 mins.This is as per timings received from the riders themselves on start time and end time.

8th January :

• 4.29PM: Near Silk Board Junction the official start to the city of Bangalore. More updates on the end time (total time) after discussion with the riders on the times. Renu swiped his card at exactly 4.29 at Silk Board Junction as per discussion.
• 4.15PM: Namaskara Karnataka again , bikes have entered Karnataka now, near Bommasandra on the outskirts of Bangalore. They should be around 20 odd kms from Bangalore approximately.
• 3.50PM: Movement! MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes moving out of Krishnagiri finally and near Shoolagiri now. Bangalore is now 70kms away approximately.
• 3.30PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes still stationary outside Krishnagiri, still no contact.
• 2.45PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows one of the R15s stationary outside Krishnagiri and one of the R15s inside Krishnagiri town , tried contacting them, both of their phones are switched off or not reachable.
• 2.10PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s crossing Krishnagiri-TN on NH-7 now and are currently 112kms from Bangalore.
• 1.10PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s have crossed Vellore – TN and are currently crossing Madanur – TN, they should be around 225km from Bangalore approximately.
• 12.00PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s have crossed Kanchipuram-TN on NH4 and are crossing Eralacheri-TN. Approximately 289kms to Bangalore.
• 11.00AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s near Sriperumbudur – TN on NH4. Bangalore approximately 310kms from here. Looks like they took a peek at the MMRC track before leaving from here
• 10.00AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows R15s crossing Chennai city now , they are approximately 340kms from Bangalore now. They will take the NH4 and then the NH7 to Bangalore.
• 9.45AM:  Chennai finally , They have covered all the metros of the GQ.
• 9.05 AM: Vanakkam Tamil Nadu , MapMyIndia GPS shows R15s crossed into TamilNadu now near Thurapallam, Chennai is 60kms now.

• 6.25 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the Chennai bound R15 Nomads express has started to chug along from Ulavapadu in Prakasam District,  AP on NH 5
• 6.05 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary near Ulavapadu in Prakasam District,  AP on NH 5. Spoke to Renu, they have stopped for tea break,  Both the riders are in good shape and in full spirit. Next stop will be Chennai (approx 250 Kms)
• 5.30 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s crossing Tanguturu Bypass in Prakasam District,  AP on NH 5. Chennai is approx 280 kms from here.
• 4.35 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s crossing Bytamanjullur in Prakasam District,  AP on NH 5. Chennai is approx 350 kms from here.  They are doing good speeds for night! This must be an amazing part of GQ!
• 3.33 AM: Movement! MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s have started moving from Mangalagiri, on the way to Guntur. Chennai is approx 455 kms from here.
• 2.15 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s are still  stationary at Mangalagiri, on the way to Guntur. They are power napping for sure. Will update once they start moving.

7th January :

• 11:05 PM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s crossing Eluru Bypass – West Godavari. Vijayawada is approx 55 kms from here and Chennai is around 510 kms away.
• 10.05 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary at Tanuku Bypass, about 65 Kms after Rajahmundry. Vijayawada is approx 135 kms away.
• 9.00 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s crossing Rajahmundry and are heading towards Vijayawada.
• 8.25 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary on the outskirts of Rajahmundry, Called Renu, they are through with the break and will be moving in few minutes and are gunning for Chennai now! Chennai is Approx 610 kms and Next big city, Vijayawada is Approx 172 kms.
• 8.05 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary on the outskirts of Rajahmundry, probably taking a break.
• 7.20PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows bikes crossed Prattipadu – AP on NH5, Rajahmundry is about 55kms from here approx.

• 3.15PM: Movement! MapMyIndia shows the bikes moving out of the stop place now , they are done with lunch I guess. Bypassing Srikakulam town now. Next big town on GQ – NH5 is Vishakhapatnam 102 kms away.
• 2.15PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows R15s stopped before Srikakulam town, probably for lunch.
• 1.00PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows R15s zipping through Mandasa Road – AP , looks like they hit good roads. Next big town is Srikakulam.
• 12.15PM: Namaskara Andhra , MapMyIndia GPS shows R15s crossing Ichchapuram – AP , some roads bad here but some distance ahead superb 4 laned GQ awaits them all up-to Chennai and beyond.
• 11.15AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows R15s crossing Chhatrapur – Orissa now. They are 60kms from Andhra border now.
• 10.15AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows R15s crossing Balugaon – Orissa now. They are moving slowly indicating bad roads.
• 9.15AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s zipping , crossed Bhubaneshwar long ago and have crossed Balarampur – Orissa now.
• 8.15 AM: Movement finally! MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s moving out of Cuttack city back to NH 5, headed towards Bhubaneswar (30 kms) Visakhapatnam is approx 450 kms away.
• 7.45 AM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s still stationary in Cuttack City. I’ve been trying to reach them on their cell phones and i’ve learnt a bit of Oriya now trying to do so! Airtel sucks in Cuttack! I’ve been hearing network busy message in Oriya from 3 hours straight!
• 6.00 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary in Cuttack City. I’ve been trying to reach them on their cell phones but am getting network busy message in oriya language!
• 1.00 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary in Cuttack City. They were heading inside the city and i was calling them frantically to let them know that they are off course. Managed to speak to Renu, he said they are halting in a hotel in  Cuttack as Amrith was having shoulder pain. He’s already taken pain killers. They will be starting again at 5.30 AM in the morning.
• 12.25 AM: Movement! MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s moving towards Cuttack City. From here Bhubaneswar is approx 30 kms.

6th January :

• 11.30 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s still stationary near Cuttack. I guess they are power napping. Will update once they start moving.
• 9.55 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary near Cuttack, they are taking a break for dinner and for power nap. Spoke to Renu, he’s in full spirit, They will be starting from here after an hour.
• 9.05 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s almost near Cuttack. They are approx 15 kms from Cuttack.
• 8.10 PM: Movement! MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s passing  Bhadrak – Orissa and are headed towards Cuttack.
• 7.50PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows bikes stationary just before Bhadrak-Orissa. Next major town on the GQ is Cuttack around 111kms away.
• 6.50PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes moving near Soro-Orissa, they are yet to reach Bhadrak. Looks like the roads are real bad in these parts of the GQ.
• 5.48PM: 100 hours are UP now. But they are still continuing strong. Wish they could complete the dream run in 100hrs but they faced a hell lot of problems on the way , kudos to Renu and Amrith for enduring such a long journey and hurdles, but hey wait the ride isn’t over yet! More updates will come. Total kms approx completed in 100 hrs is 4220km
• 5.45PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows bikes stationery near Kasbajaipur – Orissa now. Looks like they have halted for a break , last few km’s were very slow in the range of 16-20kmph, bad roads on NH5 in Orissa. They still have to reach Bhadrak.
• 4.45PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows bikes are passing through Baleshwar-Orissa now. Next big town on the GQ is Bhadrak 77kms away. Now they leave NH60 and join NH5.
• 4.00PM: Namaskara Orissa , bikes have crossed into Orissa now passing Jaleshwar bypass.
• 3.05PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes are crossing Kharagpur now. Next main town on GQ is Baleshwar in Orissa 127kms away.
• 2.25PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes have crossed Kolaghat on NH6 and heading to Kharagpur. Kharagpur is 62 kms from here.
• 1.45PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes have crossed Kolkata and are on the way to Kharagpur on NH6. Kharagpur is 126km from Kolkata.
• 1.20PM:  Kolkata , three metros have been covered now!
• 1.00PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows bikes have crossed Singur now, less than 35 kms from Kolkata. Sushant from Kolkata BN is waiting for them at Dankuni Toll Gate.

• 8.25AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows that they have crossed Isri and are way ahead zipping now, heading to next town Topchanchi – Jharkhand. Now almost 300kms from Kolkata.
• 7.55 AM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s on move again, headed towards Isri – Jharkhand.
• 7.45 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary some 30kms before Isri. Probably they have stopped for a break. Kolkata is approx 350 kms away.
• 06.40 AM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s crossing Barhi and heading towards next big town Isri. Kolkata is approx 390 kms away.
• 06.05 AM: Namaskara Jharkhand! MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s have entered Jharkhand and are headed towards next town, Barhi.
• 05.40 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s on move finally! They have passed Hazampur now and are headed towards Dobhi – Bihar. Kolkata is approx 440 kms away.

5th January :

• 10.55 PM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s zipping past Aurangabad (Bihar)  bypass!
• 10.40 PM: Movement! The R15s are now moving towards Aurangabad – Bihar
• 10.25 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the R15s stationary just after Dehri looong bridge. They are 23kms before Aurangabad – Bihar.
• 9.25 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes Exit Rohtas bypass in Bihar on NH2.  Next town is Dehri, they have a looong bridge over a river to cross there!
• 8.25 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passing through Kaimur in Bihar on NH2.
• 7.30PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows bikes stationary at SaiyedRaja in UP around 50kms ahead of Varanasi.
• 7.00PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes bypassing Mughalsarai on NH2 after a break at Varanasi. They will enter Bihar state now in sometime.
• 6.00PM : MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passing through Varanasi now on NH2.
• 5:00PM : Stop for petrol filling near Kalanua. Talked to Amrith, and they are doing good. ( GPS showing them back on the real road )
• 4.10PM Nomads crossed Allahabad on NH2 and are cruising ahead of Allahabad on NH2.Next main town on the route is Varanasi about 121 km ahead. ( GPS was showing them in the fields to the north of Allahabad doing high speeds on no roads )
• 2.00PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes crossed Kanpur and are cruising on NH2 and are passing Rewari Bujurg in UP now around 60km ahead of Kanpur on the road to Allahabad.
• 1.00PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes just before Kanpur City and stopped on NH2. They will have to negotiate city traffic to get onto the NH2 to Allahabad , Kanpur to Allahabad is 200kms approximately.
• 12.00PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes on NH2 passing Mahmudpur Buzurg and ahead. Now around 70kms from Kanpur
• 11.00AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes on NH2 passing Ethawah on bypass . They are now 150 kms from Kanpur.
• 9.45AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes on NH2 near Shikohabad , 70kms ahead of Agra and stopped. Maybe for breakfast / chai break.
• 8.45AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes on NH2 crossed Agra and are nearing Etmadpur.
• 7.55 AM: Movement! MapMyIndia GPS shows  the bikes on NH2 passing Rajpura, nearing Agra!
• 6.20 AM: They are still in same location and stationary. Aren’t reachable by phone.

4th January :

• 11.55PM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows  the bikes stationary on NH2 after Ballabgarh, headed towards Mathura. Called Amrith, they are taking a tea break. Road condition is good he said and traffic seems to be manageable.
• 10.50PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows  the bikes are moving in NH2, headed towards Faridabad.
• 9.55 PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows  the bikes are passing throughVasanth Vihar, New Delhi, headed towards Faridabad-NH2, being lead by BNer Abhinav probably.
• 9.30PM: Delhi !! The capital city and their 2nd metro city touched!
• 8.50PM: Called Amrith, they’ve Synced up with BNer Abhinav near Manesar McDonalds. Gurgaon is 20 kms away. They plan to ride it out through the night. Abhinav will be leading them till Faridabad NH2.
• 8.20PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows  the bikes passing Manesar now. BNer Abhinav is waiting for them here to guide them around delhi, they should be syncing up now.
• 7.25PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows that the bikes have entered Haryana state and are at Dharuhera about 70km from Delhi, at this rate they should touch Delhi in about an hour or more.
• 6.45PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passed Behror around 130km from Jaipur on the NH8 towards Delhi. Delhi is now around 133 kms.
• 4.10PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes moving in Jaipur, i think they have started off towards Delhi now from Service Center.
• 12:45PM : Reached Jaipur. Negotiating the traffic to the Yamaha Service Center.
• 12:00Noon : Got a call from Renu that they were approaching Jaipur. Passed on the Yamaha Service Center number to them. Hope they get some rest in Jaipur.
• 10.40AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passing Nasirabad bypass. Amrith called to confirm the route. Briefed him directions to hit NH 79A and then NH8 to proceed to Jaipur.
• 8.40AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passing Raisinghpura (after crossing Bhilwara) they are headed towards Nasirabad, from there to Jaipur - Yamaha Service point.
• 7.25AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passing Bhilwara bypass. Amrith had called to confirm the route.
• 6.35AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes have crossed  kapasan circle near Chittaurgarh and are on NH79 headed towards Bhilwara. Amrith called to confirm the route, told him to continue in the same route.
• 5.50AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes stationary after Singhpur - on the way to Chittaurgarh. Amrith called, they have stopped for tea/butt break.
• 4.50AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes in Kapasan Bypass. Amrith called to confirm the route, told them to go ahead on same route, till kapasan circle near Chittaurgarh and take left to join NH79 towards Bhilwara
• 4.10AM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes nearing Fatehnagar on NH 76
• 3.05AM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passing through Khemli, on the way to Fatehnagar on NH 76.
• 2.25AM: Got a call from Amrith, They are on right track towards Udaipur Airport and then to Fatehnagar on NH 76.  They will call me again once they near Chittaurgarh, where they have to deviate towards Bhilwara. He also told that earlier they had stopped because of heavy Fog.  They don’t have Fog issue from past half and hour.
• 2.05AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes passing through Udaipur bypass!
• 1.35 AM: MapMyIndia GPS was showing the bikes stationary at the previous location (Baran) It is showing the bikes as moving from past 10 mins. Tried to reach the riders but they aren’t reachable. Now the GPS shows them crossing Nala (after Baran)
• 12.35 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes have crossed Baran, on the way to Udaipur.

3rd January :

• 11:35PM: They’ve Stopped for quick dinner near Rayana, on the way to Udaipur. Spoke to Renu, they are riding it out from there till Jaipur. Should be reaching Jaipur by early morning. Service point shifted to Gurgaon, Vibhu will be meeting them in Gurgaon and Guiding them.
• 10.00 PM: Namaskara Rajasthan MapMyIndia GPS shows that the 2 bikes have passed Ratanpur sometime back and are on their way to udaipur.
• 9:00PM : Just after Kantha, mid-way between Ahmedabad and Udaipur.
• 6.25PM: Renu called, they have stopped for a 20 mins break near Sardar Patel Ring Road on Ahmedabad outskirts for chainlubing/checking bike etc. Jaipur is 500 kms, they plan to reach Jaipur with out much breaks now.
• 4:30PM : MapMyIndia GPS shows that the 2 bikes have passed Varodra.
• 3.40PM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes are passing Karjan, they are nearing Vadodara, Gujarat!
• 1:20PM : Crossed Surat.
• 12:25PM : MayMyIndia GPS shows movement. The boys seem to have had their nap and are moving on. Crossed Valsad.
• 11:00AM : Power nap near Valsad.
• 8:45AM : Movement ! Bikes are on the move on NH8 towards Ahmedabad.
• 8:00AM : MayMyIndia GPS shows the bikes stationary at Thane. Probably taking a quick nap and rest.
• 6.15 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes are near Thane and progressing towards NH8 to head towards Ahmedabad. Praveen Sathaye dropped them off till Airoli, now the riders are being led by Deepak Dongre towards NH8. They are back on track!
• 5.30 AM: Taking break in Panvel, Renu had forgotten his waist pouch in Lonavala Thankfully Mumbai Nomads were still there in Lonavala, they have picked up the pouch and are on their way to panvel to give it to Renu. The Riders will catch few winks of sleep at Panvel till then.
• 4.45 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes have crossed Ajivali (near Panvel East), almost in the suburbs of mumbai now!
• 3.40 AM: Reached Lonavala, Having tea with Mumbai Nomads! (Arjun, Deepak, alkesh, Abhijeeth, vineeth) they had come to lonavala for a ride and have met them up now! Pune Nomad Praveen Sathaye is with Renu and Amrith and they will be heading to Mumbai.
• 2.50 AM: Reached Pune! Pune Nomad Praveen Sathaye has met them, He will be escorting them till Mumbai now.
• 1.50 AM: MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes have crossed Shindewadi now, nearing Pune outskirts!
• 12.45 AM:  Renu called, having Tea at Satara Bypass, headed towards Pune.
• 12.20 AM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes nearing Atit MH, headed towards Satara.

2nd January :

• 11.20 PM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes nearing Toap. Earlier they had reached Kholapur at 10.45 Pm
• 10.00 PM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows the bikes crossing Nipani bypass.
• 9.00 PM:  MapMyIndia GPS shows they have already crossed Belgaum and are nearing Sankeshwar.
• 8:00PM : Bypassing Hubli.
• 6:00PM : Got a call from Renu. They had stopped for filling up fuel after Ranibennur.
• 4:20PM : Passing Chitradurga
• 2:54PM : Tumkur.
• 2:30PM : The guys have just crossed Nelamangala. I suppose the late start had them lose time with the Bangalore traffic. Both the bikes are going together. Real time tracking is fun !

• 1:33 PM : The guys have finally pushed off from Bangalore Wheels. The time will officially start after they fill up the petrol and move out.
