You will ride through some of the best road for bikers in india. following is the route you should take from delhi

Delhi-Rishikesh-Chamba-Uttarkashi-Gangotri.

Best time to go in Feb/March you can find some snow and almost zero traffic. Caution in feb march there is no electricity in gangotri. You will not find any puncture shops. Carry your own puncture kit for that.

Land sliding is a big problem. Keep a watch on the hill. I am sure you will enjoy it as its one of the best destiantion i visited. Cheap hotels are available.

If you go there in April-may june you will find big crowd on the road as gangotri temple opens for visitors in these months. so plan accordingly
