Koodlu Teertha falls

5 of us went through this..
it was raining and it was green & mist all over.
the places like Agumbe/Sringeri/Balehonnur were heaven when it rains.. numerous twisties for the pleasure of riding. we had 2 falls shared by 4.. no, not waterfall but the fall u do from the bike ;-) nothing major except vickys bike needed lotsa treatment.. i was part of both the falls and fieldsheer jacket/glove saved me + my bike without damage.. good thing is that the jacket itself didnt have damage.. ;-)
both the falls are not avoidable ones.. once a dog going out of our way
decided to jumpin in the last sec..
...and then there was this 1.5 feet deep hidden pot hole filled with
water..just gulped my front wheel..
but then they got nothing to do with our spirits..
we made it to the water falls also..koodlu teertha!
The info i gathered earlier said its a 3 hrs trek..but we found mud road for most of the part as the signs of road work is little visible.. ..that was enough to push our bikes..beautiful offroading through forest/estate roads..a few form houses i saw there tempted me to resign my job ;-)
and then we had this 40 mins leechful trek..they were there everywhere and attacking us crazy... we were prepared with lengthy socks and the pant ducked inside the socks and tiedup!
..and then we were in the heaven...the trek path has a dead end where u find tall & green mountains all around..
..and this lengthy white water making a spectacular fall piercing the green mountain..the splash of water particles all over your face.. hmmm..didnt feel like leaving that place..
there were very few other guys came to that falls in that sunday..and they also disappeared when it started raining madly.. we spent lotsa time there and left.
