About

A virgin destination in our concrete jungle: 35-40 km from Delhi. Sultanpur is home to a small lake that hosts many species of migratory birds

It is home to many species of birds, deer and neelgai roaming around. Inside, there is a ~2km walking route for people as well. Good for birding.

Route

From Delhi: a. Take the expressway to cross the flyover for hero honda chowk (exit 11). Take that, take a U turn, and come back to the place just after sohna road exit. Now, you can take left - take that road, and after 3-4km you get cut on left side for sultanpur.

b. The old direct route through sector 15 Gurgaon has horrendous repairs circa sadar bazar (avoided by a. above)

Tips

There is a resort nearby to chill, but best to go home.

Best season: Winters, when migratory birds are here.

Good in evenings, to click birds against setting sun.
