Hi Guys,
Completed one year on BN,
Read around 5900 mails, mailed a miniscule amount comparatively. Got very addicted to the mails, infact the first mail box would be the personal mails, second would be the bikers mails and the last would be the official mails, in that order for most of the days in past one year.
Though did not have a face to face interaction, but could visualize most of the members here, Some knowledgeable, some brash, some very helpful. Though this is a biking forum, I learnt much more than biking itself. You could see the myriad colors of people's characters and behaviours in this forum. The fiery red passion which some people express thier opinons. And how they are cowed down by wit and tactfulness of others. The amazing brilliance of the technical know how and how the facts are brainstromed and broken down to the most minutest details. Its awesome.
These conversations, when viewed in perspective, is not only about bikers and biking, but equally exhibit essense of excellent team dynamics (though having a meet looks like the greatest challenge). A group where anyone can be at home, wihout having that "Chip of the shoulder" attitude. This place is different Looking at many more years to come.

My better half normally doesnt speak much about my biking friends..but the first ride we had with BN's she was amazed at the discipline and the determination with which the sole concentration of the event was the Ride..it was serioulsy as if we rode to live and lived to ride...
The stops at each destination were brief and the major portion of the timewas spent riding and doing essentials like Lunch n Tea. Speed was maintained. No loose talks were encouraged.
We have ridden with many biking groups before and have managed to cover distances of 12 - 15 kms in 6 hours..and to her this 400 odd km ride in half a day was one helluva experiance she can never forget. Guess this is a aplace worth being and staying..Kudos to everyone who is a BN..
Cheers
